The East Texas Garage Band is "One Loud, In Your Face, Rock N Roll Band!" We are a Classic Rock band that covers everything from AC/DC to ZZ Top. ETGB can be found at Bike Rally's, Clubs, Bars, Fields, Private Parties, and of course Garages all over East Texas; and we have been known on occasion to travel to other parts of the world to party down with you.

Though officially formed in 2004, the roots of ETGB go back over 20 years when Paul first convinced his high school band mates to let his good friend Keith sing some harmonies on the Bob Seger tune they were working up; since then, the name has changed and members have come and gone, but one thing has always remained the same: it's all about the fun and all about the music - Classic Rock with a Southern Drawl!

Paul Werner - Guitar, Vocals

Pauly picked up first guitar at fifteen and started playing in his first combo soon after, including two bands while serving in the Army in California. Once his tour of duty was over, Pauly returned to Texas where he earned his Associates in Music Production while performing with his new band, DV8. When DV8 folded, Pauly hit the road, running lights, sound and/or staging for George Strait, .38 Special, Charlie Daniels, Alan Jackson, The Judds and others. When the allure of room service finally wore off, Pauly returned home, playing guitar and singing at various open mics and jam sessions, forming ETGB in 2004.

Tim Lovick - Guitar, Vocals

AKA: The New Guy. Wisconsin-born, Tim has been playing music since as long as he can remember. His weapon of choice is the guitar, but he can handle piano, violin, trumpet, and drums. Tim bounced around before hitting DFWin the mid 80’s, quickly becoming part of the Dallas music scene - he could be found at The Basement, Smokin Dave's Rock Room, and Dallas City Limits any given night of the week. When not hanging with ETGB, Tim also acts in local productions and fronts his own blues/country band, Starville.

David (SuperDave) Andries - Bass, Vocals

Keith and Pauly poached Dave from Keith's brother's old band, DICK WHISKEY, and haven't regeretted it once. The newest member of the group has also been performing the longest, joining his first band at twelve and sharing the professional stage with such acts as Kansas, Huey Lewis and the News, The Motels, Foghat and Peter Gabriel. Dave brings a wealth of knowlege and experience along with his big bass sound and soulful vocals.

JC Mendoza - Drums

As JC tells it, back when he was but a wee tyke living in a trailer park in Seagoville, one of the neighbors would jam out on the drums every night, annoying his family but sparking his curiosity; when his parents asked little JC what he wanted for his 13th birthday, his sole request was "Drum Kit!" After six years of teaching himself cadences by listening to everything he could get his hands on, JC formed his first band, FRANCIS COLLIDER and hit the Deep Ellum scene. When ETGB's long-time drummer needed to take a break, Pauly asked the young pro if he'd fill in - JC's been having a blast ever since!

Keith Craker - Vocals

Former lead singer of 2 FAST 2 LAST, Keith is the musical theater geek of the crew, having sung, danced and/or acted in 110 Degrees in the Shade, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, A Christmas Carol, and Little Shop of Horrors. Keith also takes a lot of ribbing, but from audiences instead of the guys: with his glasses, clean-cut looks and penchant for collared shirts, Keith has been mistaken for both the band's lawyer and accountant so far. The jokes always end after he nails Oh, Pretty Woman, so it's all good.
